Mercedes-Benz SL320 R129 Facelift Model 3.2L (1998)

For Sale my Mercedes-Benz SL 320 1998 Facelift model. It is twenty-eight years old so is eligible for historic plates.

This has been my car for the last fifteen years and is in excellent condition. If you like the R129 SL then this Facelift model is for you. It has the fantastic 3.2 litre straight 6 engine, stronger and more powerful

than the later V6 engine and if serviced regularly it is bulletproof.       In my fifteen

years of ownership, apart from normal service items and wear and tear, all that I have

had to replace are the front springs and the brake servo. I have had many great

touring holidays throughout Europe in this car. The soft top when folded still leaves a

large boot space for your luggage.

The car is RHD and the bodywork is a beautiful Azurite Blue with a Mushroom full

leather interior fitted with heated electrically adjustable seats. The five full size alloy

wheels are in good condition, and it has rear parking sensors. There is a factory

fitted wind deflector, which when deployed allows the use of the air conditioning or

heater when the top is down. The car comes complete with a factory supplied

hardtop which has its own special Mercedes-Benz storage bag and trolley. It has

completed just over 132,000 miles which is very low for a twenty-eight year old car.

The car has a Spanish registration, is taxed until December 2026 and has a valid ITV (no advisories) until March

2026. The car is supplied with two remote controls/keys, original owner’s manuals and lots of documentation,

e.g. original Mercedes-Benz build sheet, English owner’s manuals, MoT certs,
