Hi everybody
We have a beautiful run for you this month, starting at Venta Perejil just outside Estepona, we will be driving into the mountains, through the chestnut and cork oak forests, on spectacular re-surfaced roads and finishing at the superb Restaurante Nuevo Reino in San Pedro!! There will of course be coffee & cava stops, weather & road conditions permitting!!
Cars to depart at 11.00AM but please allow plenty of time for coffee / breakfast / registration etc as there will be a lot of us there! The desk will open just before 10.00AM and close at 10.50AM.
Venta Perejil is easy to find, just head along the A-7 coast road from San Pedro in the direction of Estepona. Perejil is at Km.1062, the Selwo Park exit. Please park considerately and tightly as we have a lot of cars to get in….
To get your Roadbook for the day PLEASE CLICK HERE download it, print in colour and remember to bring it with you! If you have any problems doing this, please let me know before Friday midday and I will get you a copy and bring it with me.
If you are wavering about coming, the weather forecast is good, the breakfast and lunch venues are first-class and, bear in mind, the registration sheets will close on Friday morning.
If you’ve not been to Nuevo Reino before, don’t miss this one, it is a firm favourite and we try to get there at least once every year. You will love it! Beer or cava on arrival around 2.30pm
Shared starters
Gambas Pil Pil, Berenjena with Honey, Almejas, Ensalada mixta, Boquerones
Main course (choice of 3)
Paella Mixta or Lubina con Sal with chips or Lamb chops (ask for well done if you want the fat crispy…..) with chips.
Dessert
Orange Helado . Ice cream in Orange shell.
To include: Bread and butter, Agua con/sin gas, a half bottle of wine per person.
Lunch will cost €40pp and this will include supervised parking virtually on the beach for all those that we can get in there!
