We have a really super route put together for you and much of it is relatively new or, certainly, we haven’t used for many years. There is plenty of easy driving with spectacular scenery and views and a marvellous climb to enjoy.
The route will has a short ( 33 Kms.-15 minutes or so) run out to by-pass Malaga and get started, so don’t think when you see the Roadbook that this is a particularly long one. It’s not, and features an Autovia run-out and run-in which you will cover very quickly and easily!
The Start will be at 11.00AM from the Cafe-Store at the Repsol services on the eastbound A-7 Autovia between the Benalmadena and Torremolinos Exits. Simply join the A-7 Autovia, heading East towards the Airport, go past Mijas, Benalmadena and Arroyo and pull into the services at Km 1002. Here you will find the ‘Cafe Store’ where we will gather and enjoy coffee or breakfast and sort registration. If you are coming from the East, exit at Arroyo, turn back in the opposite direction and exit at Km.1002.
I’m very pleased to tell you that, for the Finish lunch, we are returning by popular demand to an old favourite, el Jinete, in la Cala Hills. They always produce exceptional food and, even after big price rises everywhere, we are still getting this for €45pp. There will be Cava or beer on arrival, a first-class three-course lunch and with wines included, so don’t miss this one!
We also have negotiated a huge choice of dishes, far too many to get on the spreadsheet, so you will notice that each dish has a number. Simply put your choices under the relevant column, i.e. if you want Foie Mousse, Calf’s Liver and then Banana and Rum Trifle- just put a ‘1’ in columns 3, 10 and 16. Simples. Any problems doing this, just send your choices to me and I will upload for you.
