Here are the details of our fabulous run (The Tour de Torcal) this Saturday.
It really is a cracking route and I’m delighted with it.
We’ll start from an old favourite, Venta Peligrino, just above La Caňada, OR Steve will meet you at venta Platero, Coín. This is at the junction of the A355 & A7059 CLICK HERE to see the location. We have lakes, mountains, huge rock formations and all fast, open, easy-driving roads that you will love.
We’ve had a second, full day on it today, scrapping various bits that we previously planned and getting something very special as a result. All on smooth roads with a Cava and Coffee stop en route. I think in total I’ve put about 500 kms into making this a special route so I hope you’ll come and enjoy it.
Lunch will be at another old favourite, La Bohemia, in Coin just off the A-355 Marbella road. The same family have run this Cortijo for decades and we’ll dine outside under the shade of a huge old olive tree and eat some really good food. Drinks will be served on arrival, coffee to finish, wines included and all for only €45.
